    Day 1 Sunday, 7/10/2011 - We fly to Edmonton and transfer to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Sutton Place Hotel — Edmonton, AB
    Day 2 Monday, 7/11/2011 - Welcome aboard! Meet our tour director this morning, and travel westward to the great Canadian Rockies. Crossing the British Columbia border we visit Mount Robson, Canada’s highest mountain peak. We continue through thick forests and arrive at our destination of Prince George.     Day 3 Tuesday, 7/12/2011 - We continue our westward journey today following the beautiful rivers and valleys of northern British Columbia. This afternoon we visit the Ksan Historical Village and Museum in Hazelton where we discover the richness of the Gitxsan culture and heritage. Sandman Inn — Terrace, BC
    Day 4 Wednesday, 7/13/2011 - Our destination today is Prince Rupert, BC, the unofficial city of rainbows and the gateway to British Columbia’s dramatic North Coast. On arrival, we tour the North Pacific Cannery Village Museum, a National Historic Site and BC’s oldest surviving salmon cannery. Pacific Inn — Prince Rupert, BC (B,L)
    Day 5 Thursday, 7/14/2011 - This morning we board BC Ferries for our day sailing to the Queen Charlotte Islands. The Haida have called these islands home for over 10,000 years. The voyage takes us through the Coast Islands, across the Hecate Strait to Skidegate and Queen Charlotte City. Sea Raven — Queen Charlotte City, BC (B)
    Day 6 Friday, 7/15/2011 - DAYS 6, 7 & 8 We are on Queen Charlotte Island, BC A local guide will accompany our group during our stay on the Queen Charlotte Islands. We travel to Massett visiting Naikoon Provincial Park at the northern end of Graham Island. At Tow Hill, a 20-minute walk can be taken to the Blow Hole along with a beach walk on Agate Beach and North Beach. During our stay, visits will be made to The Balanced Rock, St. Mary’s Spring, and the new Haida Heritage Centre. The $26 million Centre is a series of Long Houses fronted by six traditional totem poles representing each of the 14 clans and is a celebration of the living culture of the Haida people. We visit the Old Massett with time for shopping at the local stores featuring silver, gold and argillite carvings, prints and paintings. We also travel to Port Clements an active forestry area. Here we visit the Forestry Museum and learn about the history and present conditions of the industry. In Skidegate we are treated to a traditional Haida Feast in the company of local Haida residents.     Day 7 Saturday, 7/16/2011 - DAY 9 This morning we depart the Queen Charlotte Islands to the mainland via the BC Ferry, crossing the Hecate Strait by day and arriving in Prince Rupert in the early evening. Our evening is at leisure. Pacific Inn — Prince Rupert, British Columbia
    Day 8 Sunday, 7/17/2011 - DAY 10 Today enjoy a leisurely day of travel as we retrace our steps along Highway 16. En route we visit the alpine-themed town of Smithers, with its red brick sidewalks and Bavarian storefronts. We retire for the evening at Prince George. Sandman Inn — Prince George, BC (B)
    Day 9 Monday, 7/18/2011 - DAY 11 Cross into the Province of Alberta passing once again through the beautiful Jasper National Park and arrive in Edmonton for a last overnight stay. Sutton Place Hotel —Edmonton, AB
    Day 10 Tuesday, 7/19/2011 - DAY 12 After a delicious hot breakfast, transfer to the airport for our return flight home. (B)
